This mobile is powered by octa-core 1.8GHz ARM Cortex-A53 Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor (14nm process technology) with Adreno 506 GPU for faster performance and smooth gaming experience. It runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with latest EMUI 8.0. The same processor is used on the Redmi 5 which is launched earlier this month.
