Samsung will launch its Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ on 25 February 2018. The model number of Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ are SM-G960 and SM-G965 respectively. These two variants of Galaxy S series maybe retains its two key features from last generation. They are 3.5mm headphone jack and possibly the Bixby button. This smartphone is IP68 water and dust resistant.
Samsung Galaxy S9 and Samsung Galaxy S9+ smartphone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo. This smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC in U.S and China and Samsung Exynos 9810 SoC in other countries.
Samsung Galaxy S9 smartphone had 5.8 inch display with 529 ppi while Galaxy S9+ will have 6.2 inch display with 570 ppi. The both Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ smartphone equipped with QHD+ Super AMOLED curved display. This smartphone will came with thinner bezels at the top and bottom of the device.
Samsung Galaxy S9 had single rear camera while Galaxy S9+ had dual rear camera. Galaxy S9 variant smartphone will came with 12MP rear camera and 8MP front camera with Sony IMX 345 camera sensor. Some expected camera features are, ‘Super Speed mode’, ‘Super Slow mode’, variable aperture of f/1.5-f/2.4, Intelligent Scan, Integrated iris sensor etc. These features shows Galaxy S9 series camera’s got a major upgrade.
Samsung Galaxy S9 had 4GB of RAM and maybe 64GB (or 128GB) of internal storage. Samsung Galaxy S9+ had 6GB of RAM and may be 256GB (or 128GB) of internal storage.
The battery capacity of the Samsung Galaxy S9 is 3000 mAh and Galaxy S9+ is 3500 mAh. This smartphone had fingerprint sensor on the back of the device and sensor size is bigger while compare to Galaxy S8. As per rumoures, this smartphone also had face ID unlocking sensor. These both Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ smartphone will available in new Lilac Purple, Midnight Black, Titanium Gray and Colar Blue colours. The starting price of the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ are aproximately more than Rs.65,000.
